The Institute for Family Development (IFD) is an international leader in providing services that keep children safe, strengthen families, and reduce out-of-home placement. We provide a range of in-home counseling services, including the HOMEBUILDERS® model of Intensive Family Preservation Services, Functional Family Therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and more. WHO WE WANT TO HIRE
We are looking for therapists/counselors who are committed to making a difference in the lives of children, youth and families in their communities. We are currently hiring a full-time therapist in our HOMEBUILDERS® program. This position primarily serves families in Spokane County, and, as needed, in adjacent counties.
Maintain a small caseload of 2-3 families.
Work with families in their homes and community locations.
Schedule client sessions at times that are most helpful to families.
Maintain availability to respond to their assigned families, or arrange coverage within their team if unavailable.
HOW TO JOIN OUR TEAM Minimum Requirements:
Graduate or undergraduate degree in social work, psychology, human services or related field.
Undergraduate candidates must have at least two years’ experience working with children and families.
Valid driver’s license, a vehicle in good working condition, and automobile liability insurance that meets minimum agency requirements.
Residence in Spokane County
Availability to work a flexible schedule to meet client needs (including some evenings and weekends).
Satisfactory completion of a criminal history background check.
At least 21 years of age.

Competitive Compensation
Master's degree: $60,078 - $64,556 annual salary, DOE
Bachelor's degree: $54,190 - $58,261 annual salary, DOE
Paid mileage and paid travel time
5% bilingual salary add-on for some languages
This is a non-exempt position that qualifies for overtime compensation
