The Family Service Advisor position is a part-time role (15 hours/week) at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery in Palmyra, VA, within the Office of Cemeteries.
Responsibilities include guiding families through pre-need and at-need cemetery planning with a compassionate, "Family First" approach, presenting memorial options, and maintaining accurate records.
The role involves community outreach, assisting at services, and follow-up with families, requiring strong organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
Candidates should have an Associate's degree (preferred), at least three years of cemetery or related experience, and be practicing Catholics (preferred).
Essential qualities include confidentiality, relationship-building, and familiarity with Catholic teachings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and attention to detail are necessary.
This role reports to the Director of Cemeteries.
