The Family Preservation Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership, direction and clinical supervision to a family preservation team. The Clinical Supervisor maintains program fidelity to the selected evidence-based model by coordinating external training/supervision for team members and by ensuring that all required certifications are up to date. The Clinical Supervisor serves as liaison between Choices Behavioral Health Solutions and the Indiana Department of Child Services (DCS) and is responsible for tracking, monitoring and adjusting program caseload sizes, as well as coordinating all referrals and discharges with DCS Family Case Managers. The Clinical Supervisor provides individual and group supervision to the family preservation team, using methods and tools required to maintain fidelity to the evidence-based model and compliance with the DCS contract. The Clinical Supervisor ensures family preservation services are delivered in a manner consistent with strength-based, family-centered, and culturally competent values, offers consultation and education to all members of the team regarding the values of the model, monitors the timeliness and quality of clinical documentation, and ensures compliance with all DCS contract requirements.
