Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Physician/Medical Director to join our dynamic healthcare team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive healthcare services to individuals and families, and serve as a leader in the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of acute care and a proven track record as a medical doctor.

Responsibilities:

As a Family Physician/Medical Director, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Providing comprehensive and continuous care to patients ages 2+, managing both common and complex health conditions.
2. Leading the medical team in the development and implementation of patient care policies and protocols.
3. Coordinating and directing the activities of the medical team, ensuring high-quality patient care at all times.
4. Conducting regular meetings with the medical staff to discuss patient care, medical updates, and improvements needed in the healthcare delivery system.
5. Participating in the recruitment, training, and development of medical staff.
6. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to plan, manage, and assess patient treatments.
7. Overseeing the performance of the medical team, providing feedback, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
8. Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
9. Keeping abreast of advancements in medicine and participating in professional development activities.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position must possess the following qualifications:

1. A Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
2. Board Certification in Family Medicine.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a family physician, with a focus on acute care.
4. Strong knowledge of medical regulations and healthcare management.
5. Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
7. A patient-focused approach with a dedication to providing the highest standard of care.
8. Ability to work effectively with a diverse team and manage multiple responsibilities.
9. Current and valid state medical license.
