Job Description

The firm is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Family Office Client Service Representative (CSR) to support ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients, Family Office team members, Financial Advisors and Investment Bankers in delivering exceptional client experiences and customized wealth solutions.

This role is integral to maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring seamless execution of services, and supporting the complex operational needs of Family Office clients.

We are seeking a hands-on execution role supporting client-facing deliverables, strategic projects, and leadership operations. In this position, you’ll partner closely with our teams to translate client needs into actionable plans and ensure that every deliverable is clear, on time and aligned with expectations. This position will report into the Head of Family Office team.

As this is a new and developing position, this role offers the opportunity to shape processes and contribute beyond the responsibilities outlined here as business needs evolve.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary day to day point of contact for UHNW family office clients, delivering high-touch, white-glove service
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, family members, and external advisors (attorneys, accountants, etc.)
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively coordinate solutions across internal teams
  • Manage account onboarding, maintenance, and documentation for complex family office structures (trusts, partnerships, entities)
  • Monitor the status, progress, and quality of all client-related activities to ensure consistent execution, operational excellence, client satisfaction, record keeping and data integrity
  • Ensure ongoing adherence to firm policies, procedures, and compliance standards, as well as any applicable legal and regulatory guidelines
  • Partner across clients, financial advisors, investment bankers, wealth management, trusted partners, (trust & estate, tax, alternatives), and other internal teams; and liaise with custodians and third-party managers to ensure smooth operational flow and administrative activities required to support client relationships
  • Coordinate execution of investment initiatives, reporting deliverables, and liquidity events
  • Prepare and distribute customized client reports, including performance summaries and consolidated statements
  • Assist in organizing materials for client meetings, reviews, and presentations
  • Ensure all client activity adheres to regulatory and firm compliance standards
  • Support KYC/AML processes and periodic account reviews
  • Escalate issues appropriately and maintain strong internal controls
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
  • 2 - 5+ years of experience in wealth management, family office, or financial services client support
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and account structures
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Preferred:
  • Experience supporting UHNW or family office clients
  • Knowledge of complex entity structures (trusts, estates, partnerships)
  • FINRA Registrations: Series 7 and/or 66 (or willingness to obtain)
  • Familiarity with portfolio reporting systems and CRM platforms

Compensation

For job postings in New York State, Oppenheimer is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. This salary range is specific to the City of New York and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making salary decisions including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The current base salary offered for this role is $80,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus.
