We are seeking a relationship-focused CPA who enjoys thoughtful planning and partnering with individuals and families to support their long-term goals and success.

Position Summary:

As a Family Office Advisor, you will work with individuals and families to assess their financial circumstances and develop strategies to achieve both short- and long-term objectives. You will meet with clients to understand their comprehensive financial picture, analyze information, and present meaningful recommendations tailored to their values and goals. In this role, you will engage with diverse business lines to support relationships with high-net-worth individuals and families. You will also collaborate and network across internal and external business lines to build relationships, generate referrals, and provide holistic solutions that meet clients’ diverse needs.

What will you do:

Accountabilities

Project/Process Leadership Accountability

Lead with clear direction, providing the necessary tools to delegate and elevate for growth and development of self and other teammates.

  • Lead special projects that are assigned that help the team obtain strategic planning goals.
  • Support the growth and development of each teammate with learning opportunities.
  • Mentor others by helping them develop skills in financial planning, retirement planning, estate planning, and income tax planning for more complex assignments.
  • Continually train and build trust among teammates.
  • Assist with onboarding and mentoring new teammates in the future.

Client Relationship Management

Monitor client needs by establishing and managing relationships. Deliver exceptional client experience to ensure client retention, additions, and referrals. Facilitate ongoing and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Serving our largest and most complex Wealth Advisory and FNB Reserve relationships, working with High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth families.
  • Help the client discern their financial planning, retirement planning, estate planning, and more complex income tax planning goals.
  • Provide insightful strategic planning guidance or suggestions for clients to engage with their personal CPA and Attorney to aid them in making strategic planning decisions.
  • Utilize Client Relationship Management software (FSC) to log client interactions and to perform reach-outs at designated intervals.
  • Review Daily Transaction History report and monitor Cash balances in all accounts.
  • Complete annual Administrative Reviews within established guidelines.
  • Establish the appropriate cadence for significant interactions with clients based on our client tiering guidelines.
  • Meet with clients to update financial plans and present realistic, meaningful recommendations based on clients' financial situations and goals.
  • Conduct financial planning for Wealth Advisory and FNB Reserve clients and make recommendations on advanced techniques and strategies to help them reach their financial goals.

  • Follow up on leads and referrals to engage prospective clients, open new accounts, and bring new assets under management, while utilizing FSC to track leads, referrals, and opportunities.
  • Stay abreast of new developments, strategies, and trends in the planning, investment, and family office industry.

Qualifications

Current Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field and three or more years of relevant experience in tax preparation and planning, finance, or personal finance preferred.
