Nurse Practitioner Weekends Compensation

• $74.87 per hour paid weekly (W2)
• Benefits available after 90 days
• 401(k) with company match after 1 year of service, on eligibility dates

Nurse Practitioner Weekends Highlights

• Contract assignment with potential to hire permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• 40 hours per week
• Must be available to work every weekend: Saturday and Sunday
• Must be available full-time during the week for 3 weeks of training
• Possible holiday rotations
• Onsite, patient-facing role

Nurse Practitioner Weekends Responsibilities

• Provide primary and family evidence-based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health concerns, and health counseling
• Support disposition planning for patients
• Perform routine patient appointments and examinations to promote positive health outcomes
• Complete clinic administrative duties including opening and closing, inventory management, patient follow-up, insurance verification, and payment collection
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment
• Speak with patients about healthy lifestyle choices and wellness goals
• Complete diagnostic testing and help coordinate treatment plans with other healthcare professionals
• Encourage patients to take an active role in their healthcare through screenings, wellness support, and chronic condition management

Nurse Practitioner Weekends Requirements

• Master’s Degree from a Family Nurse Practitioner program
• Current National Board Certification
• Active state license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role
• Minimum 1 year of recent primary care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in family medicine, primary care, or urgent care
• Current BLS certification
• Must be willing to obtain multi-state licensures
• Must be able to work onsite as needed
• High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Nurse Practitioner Weekends Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in family medicine or urgent care
• Working knowledge of quality measurement in chronic disease management
• Strong written, verbal, and electronic communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Ability to work independently and practice autonomously
• Proficiency with information management and technology
• Adaptability, initiative, and strong problem-solving ability
