A healthcare provider in New York City is seeking a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for a primary care role serving both adult and pediatric patients.
About the Opportunity:
Shift: Day
Schedule: Monday to Friday, with a possible 4-day work week
Hours: Business hours
Setting: Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
Responsibilities:
Providing comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population
Managing both adult and pediatric patients
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
Adapting care plans based on patient needs and feedback
Participating in community health initiatives
Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
Master's Degree
NYS Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license
Experience in Primary Care settings
Ability to handle a diverse patient demographic
Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMRs)
Strong communication skills
Empathy and cultural competence
Problem-solving abilities
Desired Qualifications:
Bilingual (English and Spanish)
Experience in an FQHC setting
Experience with HIV Care
Efficient in Patient Management systems
