Purdy Medical Clinic, a long-established primary care practice serving the Gig Harbor community for over 50 years, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP-C) to join our close-knit team.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program

  • Current and unencumbered Washington State License (required)

  • Board certification (NCCPA for PA, ANCC or equivalent for NP)

  • DEA certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)

  • Prior credentialing with insurance carriers is a plus

  • Excellent clinical judgment and diagnostic skills

  • Commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities


Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough consultations, physical assessments, and diagnostic evaluations

  • Develop and manage patient treatment plans

  • Prescribe medications appropriately

  • Participate in patient education and care coordination

  • Collaborate with other providers and support staff

  • Maintain compliance with current medical standards and legal guidelines
