Join Our Team as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Family Practice!

We are seeking dedicated Family Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our team, delivering comprehensive family care in a supportive and collaborative setting. What You'll Do:
  • Provide high-quality primary care to diverse patient populations, including adults and children (peds preferred but not required).
  • Manage a balanced panel of patients with efficiency, ensuring quick chart closures within 72 hours.
  • Work a consistent schedule of 18 patients per day, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team committed to delivering exceptional care.
  • Stay compliant with all credentialing requirements, including immunizations and certifications, to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing practice.

Required Skills:
  • Current APRN or PA license in California with Furnishing Authority (NP) or DEA registration.
  • CA Controlled Substance Education Course Certificate (for PAs).
  • Proven experience in a primary care, panel management, or similar outpatient setting (minimum 3 years preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong patient relationships.
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently, and with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records and documentation.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Pediatric experience (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
  • Bilingual abilities to serve a diverse patient community.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) for Nurse Practitioners or equivalent graduate training for Physician Assistants.
  • At least three years of outpatient primary care practice, ideally managing a panel of diverse patients.

Other Requirements:
  • Current immunizations: Flu vaccine, TB test/X-Ray results within the last 90 days, MMR, Hep B, Varicella Zoster titers, and Tdap within the past 10 years.
  • Certification in California Controlled Substance Education (for PAs).
  • Active DEA license required before start date.
  • Credentialing process estimated to take 30-90 days.
  • Must be willing to provide 30-day notice for ending assignments if needed.
