Overview:
Are you a healthcare professional eager to serve your community with confidence and compassion? Our urgent care facilities are looking for experienced providers to deliver comprehensive urgent and emergency services for both adult and pediatric patients. As a key member of our team, you will handle high-volume cases, perform minor procedures, and embody a culture of high-quality, patient-centered care. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your clinical skills and make a real difference in people's lives.

Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 12 months of current clinical experience in urgent or emergency care settings
  • Strong proficiency in EPIC electronic medical record system
  • Ability to independently evaluate and treat all patients, including pediatrics (6 months+) and adults
  • Excellent soft skills: communication, teamwork, and professionalism
  • Current certifications including BLS, NC DEA, and board certification (Board Certified PA or Family NP)
  • Must be able to commit to full-time, consistent coverage, including summer months
  • Capable of performing minor procedures such as I&D, lac repair, ear irrigation, etc.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to handle high patient volumes efficiently

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with high-volume urgent care or emergency departments
  • Prior use of modified training in EMR systems beyond Epic
  • Bilingual abilities or additional language skills
  • Experience working independently as a solo provider

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Graduated from an accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant program
  • Board certification in family practice or emergency medicine
  • Minimum of 12 months of current urgent/emergency care experience, with pediatrics as well as adult patient care

Other Requirements:
  • Must be local to Leland/Wilmington, NC (within 60 miles)
  • Ability to participate in mandatory onboarding, EMR training, and clinical screening processes
  • Willingness to work full-time hours, including support throughout the summer
  • No travel reimbursement available; mileage only within set distance limits
  • Support from dedicated onsite staff including center managers, medical assistants, and support staff
