General Summary: The Family Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive, coordinated primary and preventive health care to patients. This staff will interact as an agent with outside entities on occasion. Required to be familiar with, abide by, and enforce State of Arizona and contract mandates, obligations, deliverables, and company regulations. Coordinates patient needs with other resources, agencies, and / or other organizations providing behavioral health services to AHCCCS patients. Will provide documentation on all work performed into the electronic health record. Provide comprehensive primary care for adults. May serve as preceptor to residents, medical students, and advance practice nursing students. Attend monthly provider meetings. Remain current with standards of practice. Perform other duties or special projects as assigned by medical director.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 21 years of age.Arizona Driver's License, 39-month Motor Vehicle Report and proof of vehicle registration and liability insurance that meets insurance requirements.Must possess Level 1 fingerprint clearance.CPR and First Aid certification (Employer provides).Initial current negative TB test result (Employer provides).
