Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) / Physician Assistant (PA)

Position SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide comprehensive primary and specialty care services. This role is responsible for performing patient assessments, developing and managing care plans, and promoting overall health and wellness.
The ideal candidate is clinically strong, efficient, and committed to delivering high-quality care, with an expectation of seeing approximately two patients per hour of direct patient-facing time. This position supports the organization's mission, vision, and values while adhering to all compliance standards, policies, and procedures.
Reporting Structure- Operational Reporting: Practice Manager
- Clinical Oversight: Chief Medical Officer (CMO)
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments
- Document patient histories, symptoms, and clinical findings
- Develop, implement, and manage individualized patient care plans
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic health conditions
- Prescribe medications and administer treatments as appropriate
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, and patient families
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment plans, and health management
- Utilize medical equipment and electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards
Qualifications- Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Active licensure in the State of Massachusetts
- Board certification by ANCC or AANP (for Nurse Practitioners) or NCCPA (for Physician Assistants)
- Prescriptive authority required
- Experience providing primary care as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Strong knowledge of electronic medical records and healthcare information systems
- Understanding of federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA
- Excellent communication, clinical, and organizational skills
- Strong knowledge of disease prevention and health promotion
