Full-Time (Flexible Schedule)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, No Call
Location: Onsite – Long Island, New York (Multiple Locations)
Compensation: Performance-Based | Typical Physician Earnings: $250,000–$400,000+ annually

Role Summary

Our client, a well-established physician-led, multi-specialty medical group, is seeking a Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join its growing outpatient practice. This opportunity offers physicians the autonomy to build and manage their own patient panel while benefiting from the resources and administrative support of a collaborative multi-specialty organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services to adult and pediatric patients
  • Perform patient evaluations, including medical histories and physical examinations
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Order, interpret, and review laboratory and diagnostic testing
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate ongoing patient care
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, preventive care, and wellness strategies
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system
  • Collaborate with specialists and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated patient care
  • Provide clinical oversight and guidance to nursing and clinical support staff
  • Maintain compliance with applicable healthcare regulations, quality standards, and payer requirements
  • Participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives
  • Build and maintain a sustainable patient panel to support long-term practice growth

Required Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
  • Active New York medical license or ability to obtain licensure prior to employment
  • Prior clinical experience in Family Medicine
  • Strong diagnostic, clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary practice
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in growing and managing a successful outpatient practice
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a local patient base is highly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Established patient following within the local market
  • Experience working in outpatient private practice or physician-owned practice settings
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and value-based care initiatives
  • Interest in long-term practice growth and leadership opportunities
