About the Role
As a Family Medicine Physician with ARMS, you’ll provide comprehensive medical care to adult, adolescent, and/or pediatric patients in an integrated, team-based environment. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with a network of skilled healthcare professionals while maintaining the autonomy to practice within your full scope and expertise.
What You’ll Do
As a Family Medicine Physician at ARMS, you’ll play a vital role in promoting wellness and preventive care in a collaborative, team-based environment. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing comprehensive medical care to adult, adolescent, and/or pediatric patients in accordance with ARMS’ Primary Health Care Plan, policies, and protocols.
Ensuring compliance with all HIPAA, Joint Commission, and regulatory standards.
Maintaining an active Alabama medical license and DEA certification.
Participating in quality improvement and performance initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Keeping accurate and timely patient documentation and medical records.
Collaborating closely with the care team to ensure continuity and coordination of services.
Assisting in the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
Staying current with medical advancements and attending professional development opportunities
Performing other duties as assigned by the Chief Medical Officer or Chief Executive Officer.
What We’re Looking For
Education: Graduate of an accredited medical school (MD or DO).
Licensure: Active license to practice medicine in the State of Alabama.
Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
Experience: Minimum of three (3) years in a clinical, hospital, or private practice setting preferred.
Skills: Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and the ability to lead and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
