About the Clinician‘s WorkdayThe physician associate will provide comprehensive occupational medicine services Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, managing 20-25 patients daily with 90% occupational medicine cases and 10% urgent care. Clinical responsibilities include diagnosing and treating work-related injuries, performing pre-placement, DOT, public safety, and surveillance physical examinations for private companies and governmental agencies, and evaluating urgent care patients on a walk-in basis. The position requires DOT certification prior to starting and involves completing all documentation in a timely manner while maintaining professional behaviors. New clinicians receive one week of orientation alongside a permanent physician before working independently.
