About the Clinician's WorkdayClinicians will provide primary care services to adult psychiatric patients at a state hospital clinic in Williamsburg, Virginia, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; alternate schedules are not permitted. The expected caseload is 8-16 patients per day, with clinical responsibilities focused on the evaluation and management of medical conditions for an adult psychiatric population. Credentialing for this position is estimated at 2-3 weeks, and no call coverage is required. Required credentials include board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (negotiable), an active Virginia license, a minimum of 3 years of practitioner experience, autonomous practice preferred, and prescriptive authority.
