Family Medicine Medical Director - Near Tampa, FL

Medical Director of Family Medicine opportunity in a beautiful coastal community just 1 hour from downtown Tampa that offers a strong balance of leadership and clinical practice, along with excellent compensation and flexibility.

This role provides the opportunity to lead and grow a Family Medicine program while maintaining a manageable clinical schedule:

• Compensation: $260K–$300K+ (highly negotiable) + sign-on, relocation, and retention bonuses
• Schedule: Monday–Friday with flexibility; choose your 8-hour shift within a 7 AM–7 PM clinic window
• Structure: 3 clinic days (on-site) + 2 administrative days (remote-capable)
• Patient Volume: ~18 per day
• Call: Telephone-only, minimal (rotated)
• Leadership: Oversee 16+ providers and 2 senior APP leaders

You’ll work directly with the CMO to drive strategy, improve clinical outcomes, and build programs, including chronic disease initiatives and provider development through education and mentorship.

We’re seeking a board-certified Family Medicine physician with at least 5 years of clinical experience and 2+ years in a leadership role (not limited to FQHC experience).
