Job Details

Our highly reputable law firm is seeking a Family Law Associate to join our team.

As an integral part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of family law cases. This is a permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development in a supportive and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in family law.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing comprehensive legal advice to clients on a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, and property division.
  • Representing clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.
  • Conducting thorough and detailed case research to support legal proceedings.
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and agreements.
  • Collaborating with the legal team to develop effective case strategies.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes in family law and informing clients of these changes.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, offering exceptional service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Adhering to all ethical and professional standards as outlined by the legal profession.

Qualifications:


  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • 1+ years of experience in family law.
  • Admitted to the Texas state bar and in good standing.
  • Strong litigation skills, with experience representing clients in court.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex legal documents and advise clients accordingly.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
  • Proven ability to handle a high caseload while maintaining a high level of client service.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
