Work collaboratively with the education manager and other Head Start coordinators to promote Family Engagement and School Readiness in all aspects of the program Work collaboratively with Head Start administration and center coordinators to promote, plan and support special center/program activities such as Know Your School Night, Parent Committee Meetings, Parent Cafés, F.A.C.T., and Advisory Board Meetings. Plan and facilitate monthly Families and Children Together (F.A.C.T.) activities based on center specific needs Work cooperatively with program staff to plan monthly Parent Cafes Use data from parent/family surveys to develop meaningful family engagement activities/workshops that support the families' role as their child's first teacher Work collaboratively with center staff to ensure workshops/events are well organized and materials/supplies are available, if needed Develop high quality at home parent/child activities that foster home/school partnerships and support school readiness goals for children and families Support the education manager in all aspects of Education Advisory, including recruitment of staff and families, and taking minutes as needed Oversee the selection of center candidates for the Policy Council and work collaboratively with Head Start administration on the development and function of the Policy Council and Policy Council sub-committees, in accordance with current Head Start Performance Standards Maintain documentation of all family engagement activities Assist with recruitment and enrollment efforts as requested by your supervisor Support centers daily as needed
