In this Family Case Manager role, you won’t just connect people to services, you’ll walk alongside families as they develop life skills and move toward long-term independence. You’ll work directly with families who have experienced homelessness and significant life challenges.
Compensation
Starting at $21.15/hour (based on experience and contract guidelines)
What You’ll Do (Your Impact)
Serve as the primary support and advocate for families
Conduct intakes and holistic assessments with empathy, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity
Partner with families to co-create realistic, strengths-based service plans and actively support progress toward their goals
Provide hands-on coaching, problem-solving, and supportive counseling to help families navigate real-life barriers and challenges
Respond to crises with calm, sound judgment, and a trauma-informed approach
Connect families to community resources and services and follow through to ensure access and engagement
Maintain accurate, timely documentation that reflects both compliance standards and the story of each family’s progress

Ability to build trust while maintaining professional boundaries
Solid communication skills, including conflict resolution and de-escalation
Strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate with all stakeholders
Emotional resilience and a grounded, solutions-focused mindset
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 2 years of direct case management or related experience working with disenfranchised individuals and families (including at-risk children)
Knowledge of issues impacting formerly homeless or at-risk families, including domestic violence, substance use, mental health, and trauma
CPI certification (or ability to obtain), CPR and First Aid certification
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
Schedule
Full-time, generally Monday–Friday during business hours
(Some evenings, weekends, and holidays required based on program needs)
