This is more than a recreation position – it’s an opportunity to build inclusive spaces where participants feel supported, empowered and celebrated every day. Working at the William L. Programs include afterschool, summer and adult day services offered through the Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES) Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), as well as dances, workshops, community events and Team Peoria – the City’s award-winning Special Olympics program serving athletes ages 8 and older from Peoria and surrounding communities. From basketball and bowling to swimming, golf and flag football, you’ll help create opportunities for participants to grow socially, emotionally and physically while building confidence, friendships and lifelong memories.
If you are passionate about inclusion, thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to make a genuine difference in the community, we invite you to apply.
