Description:
The Cheshire Public Schools is seeking an educator with excellent interpersonal skills, creativity, and energy to develop students' skills and competence in Family and Consumer Science. Course instructional focus will be consumer education, human development and family studies, and foods and nutrition. The successful candidate will have the ability to create a dynamic, engaging, and student-centered, classroom environment implementing cooperative learning.The candidate must have a strong desire to collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum, assessments, and innovative instructional practices.
Qualifications:
Connecticut Teaching Certificate #045
Masters degree preferred
Salary:
In accordance with the Agreement Between the Cheshire Board of Education and the Education Association of Cheshire.
