Division/Department Information MANAGEMENT, ENTREPRENEURSHIP, CONSULTING, AND OPERATIONS (MECO) is one of seven departments in the Tobin College of Business. The department has 14 full-time faculty members as well as utilizes several adjuncts to cover courses in the Tobin core at the undergraduate and graduate level, as well as offers degrees in B.S. in Management and International Management, M.S. in Global Management and Leadership, and MBA concentrations of Entrepreneurship, Management, and International Business.
Responsibilities and Course Information We have teaching needs in organizational behavior, operations, human resources management, international management, entrepreneurship, computer systems management, and/or industrial-organizational psychology and venture capital management. Industry experience is highly preferred along with prior higher education experience in teaching business courses.
Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate or graduate courses, willingness to teach in person on campus in Queens or Manhattan during the day hours of 9 to 6 pm for undergraduate courses and evenings for graduate courses generally from 6:40 to 9:30 pm. Candidates must be available to teach undergraduate courses on a two-day schedule during days, either Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, generally. Computer usage and application software familiarity is desirable, and there is an expectation that the new faculty member will train on the use of Canvas, our university learning management system.

Salary Range
In compliance with NYCs Pay Transparency Act, the per course salary range for this position is $5,409-$8,000. St. Johns University considers factors such as, but not limited to, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
