Position Summary

The purpose of this faculty position is to enhance our educational mission in the areas of general pathology, oral pathology

and oral medicine. Further, the position will assist in the clinical management and student instruction in the diagnosis and

treatment of patients with complex oral medicine conditions. Other key components of this position include fostering a

blended learning environment that integrates with our Small Group Learning predoctoral curriculum as well as acting as

clinical content expert for our specialty programs.

Duties and Responsibilities

Teach in pre-doctoral and advanced program level clinical courses.

• Responsible for course development and evaluation criteria in the areas of general pathology, oral pathology and oral

medicine.

• Teach in a variety of seminars and conferences throughout the college.
• Provide creative leadership in further development of undergraduate and graduate programming.
• Advise and direct undergraduate and graduate students.
• Clinical responsibilities primarily in the Oral Medicine Clinic.
• Participate with other faculty in creation of clinical research programs.
• Author and contribute to clinical-related Publication.
• Participate in collegiate faculty meetings as well as departmental staff meetings, and other divisional meetings and

departmental conferences on a regular basis.

• Participate in SGL teaching.
• Participate in continuing education programs in the College and at other locations as deemed appropriate.
• Participate in departmental and college committees.
• Coordinate and participate in public service activities.
