We are currently seeking a full-time onsite Facility Systems Technician in our Operations and Maintenance division. This position performs general maintenance and repairs buildings and equipment. The hourly pay is 19.50.
Responsibilities
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to critical work order repairs. • Identify and diagnose problems with electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems. • Monitor BAS temperatures, pressures, flow rates, and assist in logging equipment recordings. • Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions and perform mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic maintenance and repair, including dismantling to access and remove defective parts. • Fabricate, replace, repair, clean, and maintain equipment, tools, and shop area. • Order and maintain an inventory of essential parts and supplies, maintain accurate repair records. • Assist other Facilities departments in performing a variety of tasks based on departmental needs. • Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
A High School Diploma or GED. 3 years of general building maintenance experience. Good mechanical aptitude. The ability to move, lift, carry, push, and pull 25 to 50 pounds frequently, up to 60 pounds occasionally. The ability to work at various heights on ladder, bucket trucks, etc. This position requires a valid drivers license and the ability to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records MVR check. Shift will be 2:30pm - 10:30pm with rotating weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and preventive maintenance experience. Commercial or industrial experience.
