Our Quick Coupling Division is looking for a Facility Support Technician to support assembly by primarily focusing on waste management, facility cleanliness, and industrial fluid maintenance. You would be the key person ensuring the production floor stays operational by managing the "byproducts" of the machining process.
Progression to a 50 class will be considered after employee has completed training. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Parker's Quick Coupling Division is the largest manufacturer of quick couplings in the world. A quick coupling is used to provide a fast, make-or-break connection of fluid or gas transfer lines. Our Grantsburg, WI plant provides critical equipment for many different industries including Agriculture, Construction, and Data Centers.
Primary Duties:
Removal of chip tubs from machines.
Removal of bar ends and non-conforming materials.
5's of the chip spinning area.
5's of the floor around the chip tubs at the machines.
Clean out of dirty machines or machines that are changing the type of stock.
Spin steel, brass and stainless steel chips to remove oil.
Clean parts washers in Machining and Finishing.
Manage Plating sludge and put sludge in bags
Load scrap trucks.
Operate mop water boiler/evaporator.
Pick up cardboard and garbage.
Maintain the chip tub area outside of the facility.
Secondary Duties:
Change cutting oils upon request.
Assist with clean-up oil spills.
Scrub floors daily.
Routine maintenance of Chip spinning equipment.
Prepare chemical waste for shipment.
Change oil filters on oil filtration system.
