    Description

    What You’ll Be Responsible For

    • Interact professionally with guests and team members using Spare Time Service Standards (Code S.E.R.V.E.).
    • Lead and support the mechanics and pit crew — including training, delegating work, and monitoring progress.
    • Meet weekly with the General Manager to review projects, priorities, and budgets.
    • Oversee the general upkeep of the building, grounds, and equipment — and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
    • Manage vendor relationships related to building maintenance, equipment, and landscaping.
    • Maintain accurate inventory and records for equipment, tools, and parts.
    • Perform basic HVAC maintenance (filters, coils, routine upkeep) following company procedures.
    • Serve as the first point of contact for utilities and communications-related issues.
    • Follow safety procedures, conduct visual inspections, and remain alert for potential hazards.
    • Perform regular approach patrols and document findings.
    • Keep machine areas clean, organized, and safe.
    • Maintain, repair, and adjust pinsetters, scoring systems, foul units, vending machines, kitchen, and lounge equipment.
    • Review lane call books daily and address issues promptly.
    • Develop temporary solutions to minimize downtime while permanent repairs are arranged.
    • Assist with light housekeeping as needed.
    • Support other facility-related needs as assigned.
    • Additional Responsibilities (Locations with Amusements)
    • Conduct daily walkthroughs of the game zone to ensure all equipment is operating properly.
    • Perform daily and weekly testing of games and attractions.
    • Maintain and troubleshoot arcade games, laser tag systems, escape room equipment, and teller machines.
    • Partner with the Amusement Manager and Center Leadership to communicate equipment concerns and resolutions.

    What We’re Looking For

    • High school diploma preferred.
    • At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
    • At least 2 years of mechanic experience or equivalent training.
    • 5+ years of experience maintaining building infrastructure.
    • Brunswick or AMF pinsetter training is a plus.
    • Experience in construction, maintenance, and facility operations.
    • Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
    • Comfortable using hand and power tools, meters, compressors, saws, grinders, and related equipment.

    Work Environment

    • Active, high-energy environment with machinery noise and lighting effects (including lasers and strobes).
    • Regular interaction with large crowds and children.
    • Physical Requirements & Schedule
    • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 100 pounds.
    • Ability to tolerate machinery noise (hearing protection provided).
    • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
    • Typical workweek is 45–50+ hours based on business needs.
