What We're Looking For:
We’re seeking a highly experienced maintenance professional with strong technical and leadership capabilities.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Associate degree in a related field (HVAC, Mechanical, etc.) or completion of a formal apprenticeship in plant operations/maintenance in a healthcare setting preferred.
Experience: 10+ years in plant operations and general maintenance in a healthcare or similar environment required; supervisory experience preferred.
Required Skills:
Proven ability to complete technical competency validations
Strong working knowledge of hand and power tools used in facility maintenance
Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence
Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and levels of authority
Valid driver’s license
Preferred Skills:
Expertise in HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems
Familiarity with building, electrical, and fire codes, as well as Environment of Care standards
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
What You'll Do:
In this advanced-level role, you’ll perform and oversee complex maintenance and operations work that supports the safety, reliability, and longevity of healthcare facilities. You’ll maintain and repair physical structures, HVAC systems, mechanical equipment, utilities, and grounds, ensuring everything operates at peak performance.

Ensure systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably
Monitor and maintain Building Management Systems (BMS), including Trane
Support critical facility functions:
HVAC and environmental control (air quality, pressure, humidity)
Energy management and efficiency
Life safety systems (fire alarms, elevators)
Security and access control systems
Ensure a safe, compliant, and patient-focused environment
You’ll also take on leadership responsibilities—guiding and directing other technicians, and stepping in for Plant Engineering leadership when needed.
