Reports to: Facility Maintenance Manager
Schedule: Full-Time Position
M-F (Hours Vary)
Summary: The Facility Maintenance role is responsible for supporting the upkeep, repair, and overall condition of company buildings and grounds. This position performs routine maintenance tasks, assists with repairs, and helps ensure the facility remains safe, clean, and fully operational.
Essential Duties:
- Perform a variety of semi-skilled maintenance tasks throughout the facility.
- Assemble, repair, and adjust basic facility equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems to identify maintenance needs.
- Inspect buildings and grounds for safety, security, and hazardous conditions, reporting issues as needed.
- Perform general custodial support tasks as required to maintain cleanliness and organization.
- Monitor and maintain custodial and maintenance supply inventory.
- Perform seasonal duties, including snow removal and weather-related facility upkeep.
- Assist with minor repairs and maintenance projects as assigned.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with company standards.
- Report larger or complex repair needs to Facility Maintenance Supervisor.
- Remain fully compliant with Company HR trainings.
- Maintain professional and courteous attitude, wardrobe, and grooming.
- Performs other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous manufacturing/production/warehouse experience preferred, at least 1 year
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, organized, and positive warehouse environment
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments at times
- Basic working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, door hardware, etc.
- Ability and willingness to learn
- Must be focused, detail oriented, and very thorough
- Valid driver’s license
