Facility Custodian - 2nd Shift

Position Summary:

The basic function of the Facility Custodian is to clean the building, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Clean office, break rooms, toilets, and floors according to departmental procedures, to include vacuuming, mopping, removing trash and garbage, washing windows, dusting furniture, filling dispensers, etc.
• Monitor cleaning supplies, notifying supervisor of low inventories.
• Assist with maintaining the grounds, performing yard work as assigned.
• Complete special projects as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience

Physical Demands Include:

• Stand, walk and use of hands to finger, handle, or feel
• Reach with hands/arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel crouch, or crawl.
• Frequently lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds with assistance.

Work Environment:

This person will work in a manufacturing environment which is temperature controlled for internal work within the building. Work in the warehouse or external to the building is not. The person will be working near moving mechanical parts and in high places. This setting involves manufacturing equipment with others working in close proximity.
