Position Summary:The Facilities Maintenance Technician Level 1 is responsible for supporting facilities and manufacturing equipment upkeep.
Essential Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance on CNC lathes and mills, Air Compressors, Ovens, Test Stands, Smog Hogs, Chip Extractors, Autoclaves etc. These will include daily, weekly, monthly, Quarterly, Bi-annually, and annually PMs services.
Adding lubricating oils to all CNC machines on daily and weekly basis
Changing filters and belts on machinery for PM program
Replacing filters for all part washers and changing out parts solution on a weekly basis
Conduct daily /Weekly Inventory and tracking of Coolant and Lubricating Oils for all machinery
Assist with removal of all Chip Barrels from the CNC Machines to process as recycling material. Schedule with outside vendor all pick up of chip recycle bins when full
Collection and processing of all E-waste for proper disposal
Process and keep detailed records of all completed corrective and PM related work orders using CMMS ( Computer Maintenance Management System) software.
Understand and follow all LOTO policies and regulations in accordance with NFPA 70E standards.
Build and install new office furniture as needed using stand hand tools or power tools
Installing office whiteboards, chairs and desk
Moving or arranging offices for new employee occupation
Setting up Main Conference , Main Cafetria or outdoor employee common areas by rearranging existing desk or chairs for meetings and employee events
Install and move machinery and equipment when necessary, using safe moving practices
Patch and paint offices and hallways as needed
Collection, Process and disposing of hazardous materials with use of proper PPE.
Work closely with EH&S to schedule Hazardous waste pick ups
Maintain a safe and clean work area, and understand and follow all 6s standards
Assist Sr. Technicians with repair, service, and overhaul on all major production equipment
Capable of using power tools and hand tools such as compact battery power drills, battery power saws, Screw drivers, Wrenches, levels and measuring tapes
Must be able to read, write and understand English, follow verbal and written instructions, and read and interpret blueprints, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
Must be able to lift 30 lbs. unassisted
Must be able to understand and follow all if ITT’s Safety polies and be able to wear proper PPE where required
Must be able to show the ability to work well in a team environment as well as alone on assigned projects or daily assignments
Forklifts, man lifts and scissors lifts experience and or certification is high desired but if not, on-site training is provided

Equal Pay Act Range: USD $20.77/Hr to USD $30.77/Hr plus benefits and incentive plans.
