This position plays an important role in supporting the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and repair of the museum’s facilities, building systems, and infrastructure. Working as part of the Engineering team, the Facilities Technician helps ensure that museum buildings and systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. The position performs maintenance and repair work on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems while supporting preventive maintenance programs and facilities projects across museum properties. Physical Requirements This position requires frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, lifting, and carrying. The successful candidate must be able to lift and move up to 100 pounds, work from ladders and lifts, and perform work at heights of up to approximately 40 feet. Position Details
