Facilities Technician - RL Light Rail & Contract Services
This role is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities and equipment • Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions • Collaborate with other teams to resolve issues and improve overall efficiency • Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations • Provide technical support and training to other staff members
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset • 2-5 years of experience in a facilities or maintenance role • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Working Conditions:
• Work is performed in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and changing priorities • May be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, or in other challenging environments • Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment and materials • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
