Position Title: Facilities Technician I
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract Facilities Technician I opportunity located in Middleton, WI.
Job Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Assist in the development and implementation of facility management plans and strategies while supporting facility maintenance activities and coordinating service requests.
- Assist in space planning activities to ensure optimal use of facility space and conduct regular inspections of building systems and equipment to identify and address issues.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and service requests, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Assist in the procurement of maintenance supplies and equipment and provide support during office moves, including new hire setups and building relocations.
Job Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Familiarity with facility management software and space planning tools.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certification in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or mechanical systems.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Knowledge of safety regulations and building codes.

- Pay Rate: $25-26/hr
