 Facilities Technician Generalist

 Help Keep Our Workplace Running at Its Best!

Are you someone who loves solving problems, fixing things, and making a real impact every day? We're looking for a Facilities Technician Generalist to join our team! In this hands-on role, you'll help keep our building safe, efficient, and running smoothly while creating a great experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

Qualifications & Experience:

️ What You'll Do

 Maintenance & Repairs

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), HVAC, and building systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair lighting, electrical fixtures, doors, hardware, furniture, appliances, and other facility equipment.
• Complete minor carpentry, painting, patching, and general building repairs.
• Assist with basic plumbing repairs, including unclogging drains, fixing leaks, and replacing fixtures.

 Preventive Maintenance

• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance to keep equipment operating at peak performance.
• Accurately document work orders and maintenance activities in our CMMS.
• Inspect building systems and proactively identify opportunities to prevent future issues.

️ Facility Operations

• Help with office moves, room setups, event support, and day-to-day facility logistics.
• Conduct daily facility walkthroughs to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Monitor building automation systems (BAS) and equipment performance as needed.

了 Safety First

• Follow OSHA regulations, building codes, and company safety standards.
• Respond to facility emergencies, including leaks, equipment failures, and alarms.
• Support fire/life safety inspections, drills, and equipment testing.

 Customer Service

• Deliver friendly, responsive, and professional service to employees, visitors, and vendors.
• Build positive relationships by providing timely solutions and excellent communication.

 What We're Looking For

• ️ 2–5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, or general maintenance.
• ️ Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• ️ Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and diagnostic equipment.
• ️ Comfortable reading technical manuals, diagrams, and safety procedures.
• ️ Strong troubleshooting, time management, and communication skills.
• ️ Ability to lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
• ️ Experience with CMMS/work order systems is a plus.
