Job Overview:
Pay Range: $17.50hr - $22.50hr
Requirement/Must Have:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
1 to 3 years of prior related experience.
Basic computer skills.
General knowledge of electrical systems.
Experience with hand tools.
Ability to use blueprints, sketches, layouts, drawings, and specifications under supervision.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the facility's structure, equipment and grounds, including all trades such as mechanical and plumbing.
Performs trades work, such as carpentry or painting, in the construction, repair or alteration of structures such as walls, roofs or office fixtures.
Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.
Performs general maintenance and repair of the facility's structure, equipment and grounds.
Works in both buildings on the campus with approximately 95% indoor and 5% outdoor tasks.
Explains facts and practices related to the job area to team members.
Follows established processes to complete routine tasks within identified boundaries.
Escalates issues to supervisor for resolution.
