What You'll Do: As a Facilities Staff Member under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Facilities Staff Member will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures, security, housekeeping and grounds maintenance.
Our Facilities Staff Member is responsible for the following:
Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and painting repairs as necessary
Implement preventative maintenance measures
Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies
Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol
Lift heavy loads up to 70 lbs.
Perform housekeeping duties
Perform setup and cleanup tasks associated with internal and external events
Provide support as needed for internal and external events
Perform general maintenance of equipment
Perform other maintenance/housekeeping duties as requested
What You Have:
High school diploma/GED preferred
2+ years' construction industry experience preferred
Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures
Ability to positively interact with the public and guests
Effective written and oral communication skills
Able to work well with minimal supervision
Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures
