    Role Summary

    The Facilities Specialist (temp) will be responsible for supporting the Sphere Studios Office Services Team with the day-to-day operations of Sphere Studios' Los Angeles production studios. This includes general office services, equipment maintenance, and administrative duties across multiple sites. The Facilities Specialist should have experience working in a cross-functional capacity delivering results in a fast-paced environment. This position will support core internal partners in day-to-day site needs, as well as specialized technical projects. This temporary role is paid weekly. 

    Specific Functions/Activities

    • Maintain up-to-date records for compliance with all State, Federal, and insurance inspections and relevant regulations.
    • Coordinate with and support all outside service vendors, including Janitorial, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Painting, Security, Utilities, etc.
    • Perform routine facility inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and operational issues, ensuring timely resolution.
    • Familiarity with commercial office facility maintenance standards, including preventive maintenance planning and execution.
    • Act as the central liaison for shipping and receiving, ensuring efficient logistics management and delivery operations.
    • Serve as primary contact for unique & reoccurring visitor/vendor access and new employee access.
    • Assist in the maintenance of pantry/office supplies and First Aid cabinets, conduct daily rounds to replace stock and keep track of inventory and re-order as needed.
    • Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.  

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of experience in facility operations or facility services
    • Excellent interpersonal & professional skills, including effective verbal and written communication
    • Strong organizational skills, and the ability to efficiently handle and prioritize multiple tasks with accuracy
    • Self-starter with a strong sense of personal initiative; responsible, reliable, and dependable with strong follow-through
    • Must be a team player, able to coordinate and collaborate across the organization
    • OSHA 10 Certification a plus
