    ASRC Federal Systems Solutions LLC, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, requires a highly skilled Facility Specialist to support the ASTROS Contract. The Facilities Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for the area facilities. This role is responsible for preventative maintenance of the facilities and equipment, coordination of work with various steams and programs, and communication with customers, internal teams, and other contractors.

    We are looking for someone with experience related to all aspects of construction from reading the blueprints to managing multiple Vendors. ASRC Federal is supporting cutting edge propulsion systems testing at the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) and we are looking for the best people to be a part of this research.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain facility and surrounding areas; perform daily inspections to check for maintenance or repairs needed and fire or safety risks
    • Serve as the central point of contact for facility occupants; communicate with all facility personnel regarding scheduled maintenance, issues, or outages
    • Coordinate work across multiple groups including Civil Engineering, Site Operations Control Center, HAZMART, Records Storage, and Munitions
    • Report facility issues through service requests and actively manage to completion; support scheduling and coordination of facility projects and upgrades
    • Provide basic facility maintenance and repair inside and outside buildings through preventative and corrective maintenance
    • Support the creation and maintenance of logbooks: emergency action plans, fire extinguisher logs, visitor logs, training logs, eyewash and shower logs, etc.
    • Manage material and equipment inventories and tracking; coordinate inspections, chemical and energetic storage, and task scheduling
    • Issue keys to building occupants, track keys via a key log, manage locks, and follow end-of-day procedures checklist to ensure facilities are secure
    • Monitor and schedule liquid nitrogen fill-ups
    • Maintain and promote energy conservations in facilities
    • Serve as the monitor for Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment and as government equipment custodian
    • Serve as a Safety Representative and provide training on local policies and plans
    • Coordinate and support chemical and environmental waste management
    • Self-motivated and provide incredible customer service.
    • Must have the ability to maintain a professional demeanor.
    • Must have effective written and verbal communication skills.
    • Must be able to switch tasks at a moment's notice and walk through the safety analysis before starting the new task.

    Education/Experience:

    • College Degree
    • 0-2 years of related experience

    Clearance:

    • Must be able to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance
