Facilities Specialist responsible for the physical maintanence of Field Office Fort Hood. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Maintains buildings and related structures including construction work.
- Maintains and repairs HVAC systems.
- Maintains grounds.
- Supports Environmental Compliance Program.
- Cleans and maintains working areas in an orderly condition.
- Sweeps, mops, scrubs and polishes floors. Removes trash or other refuse.
- Dusts equipment, furniture or fixtures. Polishes metal fixtures or trimmings.
- Provides supplies for rest rooms and other facilities and performs simple tasks such as moving and storing furniture and equipment.
- Supports maintanance of vehicle fleet.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be able to obtain a Secret level clearance, TS/SCI Eligible
- Experience with repairing and maintaining HVAC systems.
- Associate’s Degree or 2 year technical school (4 years of additional direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for education).

Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of basic construction work is a plus.
- Military background a plus.
