I. Job Brief

The Facilities Operations Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining operational standards across all Cardinal facilities. This role ensures consistency in operational processes, inventory controls, order processing, compliance with company procedures, and overall facility efficiency. The Facilities Operations Manager partners closely with facility leadership, sales, and operations personnel to promote operational excellence, continuous improvement, and alignment with company objectives.

II. Responsibilities

  • Oversee operational procedures and personnel activities across all company facilities.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain standardized operational processes to ensure consistency between locations.
  • Evaluate internal operational systems and workflows to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Conduct routine facility inspections, operational audits, and compliance reviews.
  • Develop and implement inventory control systems and order processing procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Identify operational deficiencies and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Create and coordinate operational training programs for employees involved in facility and inventory activities.
  • Collaborate with facility managers, warehouse personnel, and sales teams to maintain alignment between operational and customer service objectives.
  • Monitor operational performance metrics and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Advise executive management on operational risks, efficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives involving logistics, warehousing, inventory management, and facility operations.
  • Ensure adherence to company safety policies and operational compliance standards.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.

III. Requirements

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and operational software systems.
  • Ability to understand and apply company operational policies and procedures.
  • Ability to learn and effectively utilize operational paperwork systems and technology platforms.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with all company policies.
  • Ability to travel between company facilities as needed.

IV. Preferred Qualification

  • Experience in multi-site operations, manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse management preferred.
  • Experience with inventory control systems, ERP platforms, or operational reporting systems preferred.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
