Executive Leader, Campus Facilities & Integrated Operations

This is a senior campus facilities leadership opportunity for an experienced Integrated Facilities Management leader who can oversee complex operations, guide a large unionized workforce, manage major financial commitments, and serve as a trusted partner to senior campus leadership. The right person will bring both executive presence and operational depth, with the ability to connect daily facilities performance to long-term campus strategy.


What you'll do?

  • Serve as the senior facilities leader for a complex campus account, partnering with executive leadership, senior administrators, trustees, faculty, staff, students, and union representatives
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary IFM operation that may include physical plant, custodial services, grounds, environmental health and safety, energy management, construction, maintenance, and related campus services
  • Oversee operating and capital planning tied to a portfolio of more than $9M, including forecasting, contract compliance, financial controls, lifecycle asset planning, and capital investment recommendations
  • Guide construction, renovation, infrastructure, and facilities improvement projects from planning through execution, while keeping safety, compliance, budget, and institutional priorities aligned
  • Build a high-performing facilities organization through leadership development, staff training, operational discipline, client partnership, and consistent service delivery across the campus

Who can be successful in this role?

  • A strategic IFM, facilities management, facilities engineering, or campus operations leader with 5+ years of management experience leading teams, budgets, service delivery, and complex facilities operations, along with a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Someone with direct experience leading large-scale facilities services across a higher education, campus, healthcare, institutional, or similarly complex multi-service environment
  • A leader who has owned multi-million-dollar operating and capital budgets, contract performance, forecasting, vendor partnerships, asset planning, construction projects, and long-range facilities strategy
  • Someone who has successfully led large teams through multiple layers of management, including unionized workforces, supervisors, managers, technical teams, service teams, and contracted partners
  • An executive-level communicator who can build trust with C-suite leaders, trustees, senior administrators, faculty, staff, students, union representatives, and frontline teams while still staying close to operational realities
