Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Facilities Manager to join our large commercial real estate client.  This is a 3-month contract to start with potential for extension.

Pay:$40.00 - $45.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm

Description:
As a Facilities Manager, you will manage a team responsible for overseeing building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or a portfolio of small to medium sized buildings. This role requires strong coordination, operational oversight, and the ability to maintain productive client relationships while ensuring smooth day to day facility performance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily work orders and ensure timely completion and quality of service.
  • Manage projects related to facility operations, maintenance, and improvements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client interactions, ensuring clear communication and strong partnership.
  • Coordinate building operations across HVAC, engineering, plumbing, and plant operations.
  • Utilize technology and internal systems to track work, manage tasks, and maintain documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support facility needs.
  • Maintain a safe, compliant, and efficient operating environment.

Must Have Skills

  • Strong time management abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to use technology and work within digital systems
  • Experience in HVAC, engineering, plumbing, or running plant operations

Nice to Have Skills

  • Additional experience in HVAC, engineering, plumbing, or plant operations (beyond the minimum requirements)

Years of Experience

  • 5+ years of relevant experience

Education

  • College degree preferred

Software Skills

  • Ability to work within digital systems
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
