Job Details

Job Details / Responsibilities:

Provide overall leadership and direction for facilities management operations across the hospital campus
Manage a team of 5 direct reports including Senior Maintenance Mechanic, Maintenance Mechanic (plus per diem support), EVS Supervisor, and Purchasing Coordinator
Ensure continuous compliance with Joint Commission standards, Environment of Care requirements, and all applicable regulatory codes
Oversee maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance programs, and building systems for an 85,000-square-foot facility
Direct environmental services (EVS) operations to maintain high standards of cleanliness and infection prevention
Coordinate purchasing and supply activities related to facilities and plant operations
Partner with hospital leadership, senior team, and regional facilities leadership on capital planning, safety, and operational initiatives
Lead survey readiness activities and serve as the primary facilities expert during Joint Commission and other regulatory surveys
Conduct hospital tours and collaborate closely with clinical and administrative stakeholders to support patient care environments
Develop and manage departmental budgets, work orders, vendor relationships, and performance metrics

Qualifications:

Hospital-based facilities management experience required
Direct Joint Commission survey experience required
Proven leadership experience managing a team of maintenance technicians and related facilities staff
Strong knowledge of healthcare facility operations, building systems, and regulatory compliance
Ability to work on-site in a hospital environment and lead both technical and supervisory team members
