Essential Duties and Responsibilities
In this role, you'll be part of the team that keeps Wausau's transit system running smoothly by maintaining buses, facilities, and public spaces. Your work directly impacts riders' daily experience.
Minimum Requirements
Physical and Working Environment
Limited exposure to disagreeable elements such as dirt, temperature fluctuations, and/or limited exposure to weather conditions. Limited travel within the City of Wausau.
Normal mental and visual attention is required. Moderate physical demands typically found in service and maintenance work with moderate exposure to workplace hazards. Requires regular lifting, bending, twisting, turning, and use of power equipment. Ability to walk, stand, lay on ground, and work in extreme weather conditions.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a valid Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with Air Brake and Passenger endorsements within 6 months of hire.
