About The Role

Wolfe is seeking a skilled and dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician to help keep our properties safe, functional, and well maintained. We operate an office at Foster Plaza in Pittsburgh, two manufacturing centers, and additional properties that require ongoing care and upkeep. This role is highly hands on, ideal for someone who takes pride in solving problems quickly, maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness, and ensuring all facility systems and equipment operate reliably. The Facilities Maintenance Technician will perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections while responding to daily maintenance needs across multiple sites.

Impact Statement

Success in this role during the first 90 to 120 days will be measured by, but not limited to, the following outcomes: 
  • Facility Understanding: Build a complete understanding of Wolfe’s facilities, systems, and maintenance needs across the Foster Plaza office, two manufacturing and fulfillment centers, and other properties by applying professional experience and technical knowledge without requiring ongoing direction. 
  • Responsiveness: Complete all maintenance requests promptly and within expected timeframes, demonstrating urgency, ownership, and quality workmanship. 
  • Communication and Coordination: Provide timely, accurate, and proactive communication to the supervisor and necessary team members so they remain consistently informed of priorities, progress, and any emerging risks. 

Responsibilities


  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on building systems and equipment, including but not limited to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers, and generators. 
  • Respond promptly to facility maintenance requests across all Wolfe properties, troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently. 
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in all indoor and outdoor areas, including offices, manufacturing floors, parking lots, and grounds. 
  • Assist with snow removal, landscaping, and other seasonal building preparations. 
  • Coordinate with vendors for specialized maintenance and emergency repairs. 
  • Maintain tools, supplies, and equipment inventory, reporting needs proactively. 
  • Support safety inspections and compliance checks in accordance with OSHA and environmental regulations. 
  • Collaborate with Security and Operations teams to ensure building safety and access control. 

Qualifications


  • 5 or more years of experience in facilities maintenance or related technical field. 
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems. 
  • Familiarity with OSHA and safety standards. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple maintenance needs in a fast paced environment. 
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills. 
  • Reliable, organized, and customer service oriented. 
  • Able to climb ladders, work at heights, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
