This position is designed for technical college seniors and recent graduates who want to turn hands-on training into real, paid, on-the-job experience as a Facilities Maintenance Technician.
HomeSmiles Charleston–Beaufort provides residential and commercial property maintenance services. This role offers a practical next step after technical college for individuals who want to build field experience, responsibility, and long-term career opportunity in facilities and property maintenance.
This is on-the-job employment, not a youth apprenticeship or college-administered program.
What You’ll Do
• Perform hands-on facilities and property maintenance work
• Work on residential and commercial properties
• Use professional tools and equipment
• Apply technical skills learned during technical college training
• Identify and solve maintenance issues on site
• Learn how jobs are planned, executed, and completed
• Work as part of a crew and see results every day
