At Excelitas Technologies you are how we EXCEL.We are presently seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain the Manufacturing facility and equipment in working condition to support business needs in a fast-paced production environment.Main responsibilitiesPerforms preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and building systemsUnderstanding of PLCs ability to access programs for troubleshooting purposesCommon knowledge of hand tools and electrical testing equipmentInstall maintain and repair electrical pumps motors heaters piping systems and water systemsMaintain detailed documentation of service ticket repair and preventive maintenanceTroubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on general manufacturing equipment such as motors and rotating machinery.Work with production personnel to troubleshoot and understand mechanical problemsDiagnose troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical problems and determine how to correct them checking blueprints repair manuals and parts catalogs as necessary.Maintains building HVAC electrical plumbing compressed air and process gas systemsContinually and informally assesses building grounds and machinery for functionality professional appearance and safety.Support the Safety Program with facilities issuesValid drivers license and good driving recordWork with outside suppliers and vendors as required to support all the aboveAssists the Facilities Manager with daily and special projectsOther duties as assignedRequirementsMinimum 3 years experience in relevant Manufacturing facility maintenance functionsHigh School diploma or equivalent required some college or trade schools preferredAbility to follow verbal instructionsPersonal Computer skills including proficiency with Windows Word and ExcelDemonstrated dependability and flexibilityAbility to work independently as well as with a teamPositive honest creative and energetic attitudeAbility to handle multiple roles and support requests simultaneously with excellent follow-upAbility to lift up to 40 poundsAbility to be on your feet for eight hoursElectrical experienceskills preferredBenefits start day 1 PAID MaternityPaternity leave Tuition Reimbursement Long-term and Short-term disability Medical Dental Vision 401K Paid Time Off Holiday Pay.Pay Range 28-35 per hour depending on experience.Our facility in Boulder Colorado has key functions in Research and Development Operations Production and other disciplines.
