Role Overview
Sodexo is seeking an onsite Facilities Maintenance Coordinator for a leading manufacturer located in Oxnard, CA with experience supporting total integrated facilities. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, have excellent interpersonal skills, and must enjoy working with clients, vendors and the coordinator team to achieve excellent customer service.
What You'll Do
- Assist team with vendor management, vendor selection and onboarding.
- Approach all aspects of the work being performed with safety as the highest priority, ensuring OSHA regulations are followed.
- Handle routine facilities operations by procuring supplies and services, assigning work orders in CMMS, use written and verbal communication as a liaison between vendors and client.
- Obtaining accurate proposals, issue purchase orders with NTE, monitor work completion/obtain work completion paperwork, final receipt in CMMS for invoicing.
- Manage the status of work control and backlog for work order submission to work order completion. Status may include waiting for planning, waiting parts, ready to schedule, scheduled, etc.
- Actively participate in scheduling meetings with partners to finalize priority of work orders.
- Assist manager with the hiring, training and onboarding processes.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System and capability to create queries and reports. Preferred experience with Maximo CMMS.
- Experience with Outlook, Excell, Teams, and Word. (Microsoft Office/database)
- Other duties as assigned.
